Update on my life...
loved law school (there are some serious psychos there) but I don't see myself writing contracts for the rest of my life. doing this Masters program right now. will finish all MA classes this summer and student teach in the fall. then done. yes, yes, yes, so tired of being a student.
been substitute teaching for Oxford public schools. got my first student marriage proposal the other day--and in 4 years he'll be legal.
I'm done with all the psych and educational research I've been doing for forever, but I have been working on a new project. I'm editting book reviews for a 19th century children's literature project.
finally, I'm trying to write my first novel.
In a nutshell...
WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
boring people, people who are afraid of me, fish, people who tell me I'm crazy (I am well aware), the baby cocktail corn(yuck!), well water (anything/anyone that smells bad), people who pretend they like everyone
WHAT I LIKE:
art, fast cars (Jaguars), techno, jazz, blues (Boom Boom Room), cities, vineyards, the moon, guys with tattoos, cooking
WHAT I REALLY LIKE:
hot showers, dancing, red wine (and other pain killers)
WHAT I LOVE:
San Francisco, massage, good company, this quote:
"if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's please that it would be better that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's thrushing floor into the seasonless world where you will laugh but not all of your laughter and weep but not all of your tears."
The success of my life will be measured be my simple goodness, not my seeming greatness.
